Delivering Firewood in North Hills
It is a quiet area of single-family homes, and many have fireplaces that come alive in winter. I deliver throughout North Hills and the surrounding area, and I handle each order myself. You can order online at any hour or text me with questions about sizes, species and timing. If you have never ordered a cord before, I am happy to walk you through what a cord looks like.
I also deliver to neighboring communities, including Northridge, Mission Hills and Granada Hills. Not sure whether your street is in range? Check the Los Angeles County delivery page or text me at (805) 795-7111 and I will confirm.
Wood Species Available for North Hills
Every species below is split and properly seasoned for North Hills fireplaces, fire pits and outdoor kitchens.
Red Oak or Coastal Live Oak: long, hot burns, the classic fireplace wood
Mixed Hardwood and Softwood: easy-lighting everyday blend
Avocado: clean burning, mild aroma
Eucalyptus: burns very well when properly seasoned
Pine Softwood: easy-lighting softwood for casual fires
Pizza Oven Oak: red oak or coastal live oak split for pizza ovens
Red oak or coastal live oak and the mixed blend are everyday choices, and pine is an easy-lighting option for casual fires. Sizes vary by wood and run up to a full cord (128 cubic feet), so check the live Los Angeles County shop page for available sizes and current prices. Free delivery in most areas we service. Some locations may have a small delivery fee shown at checkout.
Where Our Firewood Comes From
I cut, split and haul the wood myself, and it all comes from within 25 miles of where you live. That means the Santa Monica Mountains, Los Padres National Forest, local arborists, local ranches and farms, and homeowners who have trees taken down. When you order for North Hills, you are getting regional wood from a short drive away, not a pallet from out of state.
