This reduces moving bugs, and other pest that might be found in firewood from the desert, Bakersfield, Lancaster area to your home here locally. This is why I don't purchase other fruit woods, hickory, mesquite etc. Plus you have to charge an arm and a leg for it, I'll leave that to the others think I've been around long enough to know what moves and doesn't.
