Firewood Delivery to Mission Hills: Locally Sourced, Delivered to Your Door
Mission Hills is a northeast San Fernando Valley neighborhood, best known as home to the historic San Fernando Mission. If you live in Mission Hills and want firewood from someone who sourced it, split it and delivers it himself, you are in the right place. I am Kyle, and I run Firewood Guys. Free delivery in most areas we service. Some locations may have a small delivery fee shown at checkout.

Mission Hills and Nearby Areas We Deliver To
It sits at the foot of the hills, with a mix of older and newer homes, and evenings get cool once the sun goes down. Many households here use the fireplace through the winter and enjoy a backyard fire in the shoulder seasons. I deliver to Mission Hills as part of my north Valley route. If you want to try the wood first, the mixed hardwood and softwood blend or avocado are easy places to begin.
I also deliver to neighboring communities, including San Fernando, Granada Hills and Pacoima. Not sure whether your street is in range? Check the Los Angeles County delivery page or text me at (805) 795-7111 and I will confirm.
Wood Species Available for Mission Hills
Here is what I carry for Mission Hills customers. Every species is split, which means cut and split lengthwise so you see the grain and flat faces, and ready to burn.
Red Oak or Coastal Live Oak: long, hot burns, the classic fireplace wood
Mixed Hardwood and Softwood: easy-lighting everyday blend
Avocado: clean burning, mild aroma
Eucalyptus: burns very well when properly seasoned
Pine Softwood: easy-lighting softwood for casual fires
Pizza Oven Oak: red oak or coastal live oak split for pizza ovens
A smaller first order is a good way to see the difference locally sourced, properly seasoned wood makes. Sizes vary by wood and run up to a full cord (128 cubic feet), so check the live Los Angeles County shop page for available sizes and current prices. Free delivery in most areas we service. Some locations may have a small delivery fee shown at checkout.
Locally Sourced Within 25 Miles
Everything I deliver to Mission Hills is sourced within 25 miles of your door. My wood comes from a mix of local places: the Santa Monica Mountains, Los Padres National Forest, local arborists, local ranches and farms, and homeowners who have trees removed. No wood is shipped in from far away, and there is no middleman between the source and your woodpile.
Local wood seasons in the same climate it will burn in, so it arrives ready to perform.
