Firewood Delivery to Westlake Village — Locally Sourced, Free Delivery, Personal Service
Westlake Village is the kind of place where the fireplace is part of the architecture. The homes here are built for it — high ceilings, open living rooms, stone surrounds designed to hold a real fire on a cold evening. From November through March, the nights drop into the 40s regularly, and the properties along the lake and up into the hills have fireplaces that see serious use.
In this post:
I'm Kyle, and I've been delivering firewood to Westlake Village and the surrounding communities for over 25 years. This is one of those areas where the customers know quality — and where I've been delivering it consistently for a long time.
Why Locally Sourced Firewood Matters
Most packaged firewood wasn't grown nearby, wasn't processed for Southern California's climate, and may not be the species on the label. Sealed in plastic, it arrives wetter than it should be and burns inconsistently — more smoke, less heat.
Firewood Guys sources everything from within 25 miles of your door: the Santa Monica Mountains, Los Padres National Forest, local arborists, farms, and homeowners who've had trees removed. For Westlake Village customers, that sourcing circle includes the oak-covered hills right at your doorstep. California regulates firewood movement across regions specifically to prevent invasive pests like the spotted lanternfly and emerald ash borer from spreading — buying locally keeps you compliant.
Wood Species We Deliver to Westlake Village
Here's what we carry for Westlake Village and the surrounding Conejo Valley communities:
Red Oak and White Oak — The premium choice for a Westlake Village fireplace. Long, steady burns, deep coal beds, consistent output through a cold night. Starting at $144 per 1/8 cord, tax included.
Avocado Firewood — Dense Southern California hardwood with a clean, mild burn. An excellent choice for an outdoor fire pit on a calm lakeside evening. From $112.50.
Eucalyptus Hardwood — Burns hotter than most species when properly seasoned. A strong choice for the cooler hillside homes above the valley floor. From $112.50.
Hardwood/Softwood Mixed — A versatile everyday option. Catches quickly, burns well. From $94.50.
Camping Firewood (Mixed) — Heading to Malibu Creek State Park or nearby campgrounds? This blend travels well and burns clean. From $94.50.
Premium BBQ Blend — For outdoor cooking over wood. Built for consistent heat and clean smoke. From $157.50.
Cord sizes range from a 1/8 cord (16 cubic feet) to a full cord (128 cubic feet). Free delivery in most areas we service — some locations may have a small delivery fee shown at checkout.
Kyle's 25 Years in Ventura County
I started Firewood Guys over 25 years ago built around a simple idea: no middlemen, no markup, just wood I source myself and deliver personally. That idea came partly from working for Dustin Walker, a former employer who ran his own firewood business before he passed.
No warehouse. No staff. No cost layered in between the tree and your driveway. I cut the wood, split it, load the truck, and make the delivery. If you text me at (805) 795-7111, you're talking to the person who will bring your order. Westlake Village has been part of my delivery territory since the beginning.
