Firewood Delivery to Santa Ynez — Locally Sourced, Delivered to Your Door
The Santa Ynez Valley has a character all its own — rolling hills, ranch land, vineyards, and those cool evenings that make a fire feel like the right call. I'm Kyle, and I've been cutting and delivering firewood across Santa Barbara County for over 25 years. If you're in Santa Ynez and you want quality hardwood that actually burns, I'll bring it straight to your door.
In this post:
This is a one-man operation — no warehouse, no retail markup, no middlemen. You order, I deliver. It's that simple.
Why Santa Ynez Valley Is Perfect Firewood Country
Santa Ynez sits inland from the coast, which means temperatures can swing significantly between day and night. Warm afternoons give way to genuinely cold evenings, especially from fall through spring. That kind of weather is exactly what a good fire was made for.
Whether you've got a fireplace in a ranch house, a wood stove in the guesthouse, or a fire pit out back, the valley lifestyle calls for firewood you can count on. I've been delivering to customers throughout the Santa Ynez area long enough to know what they want: wood that's dry, splits cleanly, and burns long and hot.
Locally Sourced — Within 25 Miles
Every load I deliver to Santa Ynez is sourced locally — within 25 miles of where it's being delivered. I pull from Los Padres National Forest, the Santa Monica Mountains, local ranches and farms, arborists, and homeowners who have trees removed from their property. That's the full picture.
This matters because locally sourced wood seasons in the same climate it'll be burned in. It's not hauled across the state. It belongs here, and it burns like it does.
Wood Types Available for Santa Ynez
I carry several species so you can pick the right wood for how you burn:
Red Oak — high heat output, long burn time, ideal for fireplaces and wood stoves
White Oak — steady, consistent heat with a clean flame
Avocado Wood — rich aromatic burn, great for outdoor fires and BBQ cooking
Eucalyptus — extremely hot and long-burning when properly seasoned, excellent in fireplaces
Mixed Hardwood Blends — versatile everyday firewood for any application
All of it is seasoned and split — ready to stack and ready to burn. No green wood, no wet logs, no excuses.
